referencing this closed request given its somewhat related

however, I would ask as a wishlist feature request, if there could either be a
setting internally for it to remember the last state in the notifications area,
so that you do not ALWAYS have to "expand details" for every single file
transfer you make every single time, or, conversely, have a system setting you
can toggle to either always expand it, or to change the default behavior of
always being colapsed for every new file transfer, I myself do a LOT of network
storage file transfers, and having to open the details tab to view the file
transfer speed and files remaining every time when making around 20 transfers a
day gets very tedious and it would be wonderful to have an extra feature for it
to either remember the last state, or to set it system wide to always do one or
the other. thank you.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. initiate any file transfer
2. view it in notifications area - the expanded version specific to file
transfers not the system default popup
