This laptop has an AMD GPU as part of its processor, which cannot be turned off. It also has an nVidia GPU that can either be turned on or off. It has something called Advanced Optimus, which includes a hardware chip that physically disconnects the laptop disply from the AMD GPU and connects it to the nVidia GPU when in "Ultimate" mode. This configuration boots fine, and in previous versions of plasma has worked fine with suspend as well. From version 6.7 of plasma, suspend is now broken as the monitors stay black on a resume. >From what I read in the logs, and have provided here, it looks like kwin tries to talk to the GPU with no screens first on a resume.
