It is executing something that is causing the issue, whether that is internal or something it calls and expects an answer from, kwin is involved in some way. Now, at the moment it looks like it is only me that is affected by it, but as Arch is at the forefront of the wider audience of linux users because of its rapid release cycle I fully expect more users to be affected by this once the more stable distrobutions start running this code. I see the status of this bug has been changed to waiting for info. What information are you waiting on, please? One thing I could try is to pull the source code for kwin and let my AI agent take a look at it, to see whether it can identify why this is happening, but since I don't know my ass from my elbow when it comes to writing code, we'll have to at least trust its out put a little and just take a look.
