systemd logs of a failed session (log in into one account, switch to other,
loggout and the log in back)
DESCRIPTION
Probably authorization error when switching between users causes multiple
abnormal behaviours of Plasma
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Requires more than one user on the system
2. Select switch user
3. Log in into a different account (logging back directly to the same account
works fine)
4. Log out/switch user (both cause this issue)
5. Log back into the first account
OBSERVED RESULT
Everything seems fine, however multiple abnormal behaviours appear:
1) authorization fails: turning off/rebooting of the system is impossible via
Plasma's functions. The only way is to use sudo shutdown/reboot
2) pressing ALT+F4 closes a windows, but switches to tty4 as well
3) pressing CTRL+C switches to tty1 (plasma-login-manager tty)
4) when switched to plasma-login-manager, trying to log in causes freeze
impossible to work around - only using CTRL+ALT+DEL and rebooting works
5) switching back from the login manager to tty2 manually solves issue 3), but
the rest remain in place until the next boot
6) additionally the entire input from tty2 is later shown as a plain text
(including passwords from plasma-login-manager!)
EXPECTED RESULT
Switching back into an account should allow working without a change in
behaviour of the DE
