I'm surprised it's not clear to you, but here it is again: When an action other than "do nothing" is selected for "when the laptop lid is closed", and the checkbox "even when an external monitor is connected" is not checked, there should be an additional option (probably a checkbox) determining whether or not, unplugging the last external monitor while the lid is already closed, also triggers that action. Think of a non-laptop computer. You'd never expect that unplugging the monitor would cause the computer to go to sleep, right? Certainly you would at least like to be able to control whether or not that happens. Many of us who use a laptop with an external monitor and the lid closed basically use the laptop as a desktop computer. Most of the time, when I unplug my monitor, I either plug it back in shortly after, or plug in a different monitor. @David Edmundson > I had a chat with some others we all think current behaviour is most > expected and least confusion. I wonder if you reminded those people that when you reconnect the monitor the computer won't wake up. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
