Symptom: on a fresh Dolphin launch (Details/List view as default), all folder icons in the file-list pane are blank -- sidebar Places icons render fine. Switching view mode to Icons and back temporarily fixes it, but it recurs on next launch. Ruled out NVIDIA driver as the cause: downgrading only the dolphin package back to 26.04.3 (keeping the same NVIDIA 580.178.04 driver) fully resolves it.
