interfaces

Dear Krita developers,
After updating Krita to version 5.3.x, I discovered that the familiar text
editor dialog had been removed and replaced with a new text editing interface.
The previous dialog was convenient and intuitive. It allowed users to edit text
and adjust its formatting in a dedicated window, providing a straightforward
workflow for working with text in illustrations, posters, and other artwork.
The new interface significantly changes this workflow. I find the previous
dialog much more convenient for everyday text editing, and I am disappointed
that there is no apparent option to restore it.
I understand that the new text tool may introduce improvements and additional
functionality. However, replacing the existing interface without providing an
alternative makes the transition unnecessarily frustrating for users who prefer
the previous workflow.
My request is to restore the old text editor dialog or introduce a setting that
allows users to choose between the old and new text editing interfaces.
Ideally, this option could be available in Krita's settings, allowing users to
select their preferred text editing method without sacrificing the improvements
introduced in the new version.
I believe that providing this choice would make Krita more flexible and
user-friendly, accommodating both users who appreciate the new interface and
those who prefer the original dialog.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
