--- Comment #2 from Alik <[email protected]> --- Why did I need to get involved in the development process when I was perfectly happy with things as they were? I’ve been a long-time fan of this app, but it looks like those days are over with version 5.3.x. You’re breaking things that worked well—it’s a classic case of "busywork" rather than actual progress. Just look at Amazon’s website; it hasn’t changed in decades, simply because it’s convenient and it works. I’m not against new features, but Krita is a professional tool, not a game. Having to relearn how to use the software just to master a new "convenient" feature—instead of actually getting work done—is a waste of time. And time is money. пт, 9 окт. 2026 г. в 12:12, <[email protected]>: > https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=526833 > > [email protected] changed: > > What |Removed |Added > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Resolution|--- |NOT A BUG > Status|REPORTED |RESOLVED > CC| | > [email protected] > > --- Comment #1 from [email protected] --- > The new text editor was developed over a period of about three years, in > public > and with user feedback.
