--- Comment #2 from Błażej Szczygieł <[email protected]> --- (In reply to Zamundaaa from comment #1) > This is likely a regression caused by commit timing. Does it also hit the issue for > you? On full screen, vkcube is generally working with VRR. vrrtest is also working. In games and vulkan video player, it's not working correctly. Monitor is set to 120 Hz: - In game with direct scanout, the real framerate in monitor (OSD with FPS counter) is jumping to 120 Hz and lower while mangohud shows minor FPS differences, the game is visually unsmooth, stutters a lot, it's random when it's smooth (in-sync) for a while or unsmooth for a while. - In game without direct scanout (KWIN_DRM_NO_DIRECT_SCANOUT=1) FPS locks to 68 FPS in game and in monitor OSD, however the game is smooth, but with locked FPS. Same in video player - playing 50 FPS video, the monitor shows 68 FPS, the video stutters a lot. A bit different results when monitor is set to 165 Hz, but still wrong. No issues in KWin 6.7.5. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
