--- Comment #7 from Socrates_Medina <[email protected]> --- Additional findings from my testing on CachyOS: Initially I suspected the issue was related to my dual-monitor setup because I observed the following: - With both monitors connected, the virtual keyboard appeared on the SDDM login screen whenever the password field gained focus. - When I powered off my secondary monitor and rebooted, the problem disappeared completely. However, I now have additional information: After shutting the system down completely overnight, I powered the secondary monitor back on and booted the system again with both monitors connected. The issue did NOT reoccur. This means that the presence of a second monitor alone is not sufficient to trigger the bug. My current observations are: - The bug is intermittent. - It may depend on startup state, monitor detection timing, or initialization order. - When the bug occurs, the virtual keyboard initially appears on the secondary monitor and follows the focused password field. - When the bug does not occur, the login screen behaves completely normally with the same hardware configuration. System: - CachyOS - Plasma 6.8.0 - SDDM 0.21.0 - Wayland session - AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX - Monitor 1: 3840x2160 @ 120Hz - Monitor 2: 2560x1440 @ 60Hz I can continue collecting observations if additional testing would be helpful. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
