This is the most severe KDE bug at the moment. And the fact it was opened
several months and still doesn't have a published fix is, unfortunately, yet
another example of how slow KDE development has become and why the majority of
Linux users nowadays prefer the technically inferior, but more reliable, Gnome.
I connect/disconnect my laptop to/from 4 different external monitors everyday.
The reliability of multi-monitor support is paramount for my work.
