+1 for not being dependent on laptops or plugging and unplugging monitors. I
have 2 permanent desktop monitors on the same card, nvidia driver, right screen
set primary in xorg.conf and always shows up primary in xrandr -q and kde
system settings. On each boot, 1 of 3 things will happen, seemingly at random:

1: Everything is fine: right screen gets the desktop and the panel
2: Left screen gets the panel and I have to drag it back
3: Left screen (which is a tv across the room and should just be a wallpaper)
gets the entire desktop, leaving right screen totally blank, and I have to
reboot

So yeah, let me know if you need help and/or data; this makes booting into
plasma a huge pain fully 2/3 of the time.
