Do you mean that all pages seem to be scanned and you don't get an error
message and just the first page is saved or could it be that you get a bunch of
separate files? Could it be that you have selected "Open save dialog for the
first image only" and that the other images are automatically saved with a
sequence number?
The bug on launchpad says that what is missing from Skanlite is the option to
select a specific page size, but otherwise the scanning works, but with Simple
Scan they get an error message.
Can you also specify a bit more what scanner and what backend you are using?
