bark mallard <markjball...@googlemail.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |markjball...@googlemail.com Status|REPORTED |CONFIRMED Ever confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #2 from bark mallard <markjball...@googlemail.com> --- I find it convenient to open multiple instances of Kate so that I can have different documents open in different workspaces. I do this with "$ kate -n filename &' Whenever a new instance opens, some tools are disabled by default, despite the fact that they have actually been enabled. This includes Snippets. Consequently, when I open a document, I must go Menu > Settings > Configure Kate > Plugins > [x] Snippets tool view. In fact, the other plugins I opted to enable are also disabled. Unfortunately, the process of browsing, examining and selecting plugins is not something I necessarily want to repeat often, no matter how delectable the list is, and how pleasurable it is to tool-up such a fine text editor as Kate. This is not entirely in keeping with the manner of snippets. Perhaps there is a config file I must find that specifies which Tools are enabled by default? Perhaps better still an option in the config menu. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
