I don't understand what this means in practical terms. Does it matter whether we call it a Kmail / Akonadi bug or Google being unhappy with what it does? After all, we are talking about gmail. The way I see it (and maybe I am wrong, then tell me) it can be fixed two ways: One is to convince Google that they are wrong and change their ways, the other would be to say we accept it as a feature bug and we fix it to make Google happy. I frankly don't care which route is taken as long as it gets done. If it was me, I knew which basket to put my eggs in, but I wouldn't impose...
