Hello, not moving the widgets is not the solution, because, assuming the
resolution changes to a smaller one, some widgets might end up outside the
desktop, hence inaccessible. I've had this in a virtual machine already, so I
have seen some widgets used in the "add  widgets" pane, where they were counted
as used on the desktop, but unavailable, due to the fact they were on the right
edge before the resize. This requires some compromise. In such case, Rainmeter
(a Windows widgets system) moved them to the new edge that was closest to them,
compared to the initial position. IMHO, some profile should be done per
resolution/GPU/whatever is necessary, in order to restore them. Or at least for
the supported resolutions of the system, when changes.
