The "PAL_1080i_DVCPRO_HD_colorbar.avi" is a 25fps file contains 8 audio streams and sin tone on the first 2 audio streams (from http://www.gvgdevelopers.com/concrete/products/k2/test_clips/). Make a new project with 50fps and add above clip to the timeline -> play it -> I hear crackling. Can you reproduce as well?
