I know why it might be Krita's fault. In 4.4.0 we tried to make Windows Ink
default for new users. However we've got some signals that it might've been
messed up and now Windows Ink is called Wintab and Wintab is called Windows Ink
in the UI, which would change the setting for the existing users as well,
especially since before Wintab was default, and Windows Ink, while working
better with pressure and not disconnecting/turning off the driver for no
reason, can have issues with buttons.

Hence, important question - @Franco, have you restarted your *PC* after
switching to the other API? Otherwise it might not start to work correctly.

Also if you have a separate profile for Krita, make sure you change this
separate profile and also please make sure that both Krita versions uses the
same profile (some silly debug like very extreme pressure curve might be
helpful). (I'm not sure if here any restart of the PC is needed, I think not).
