"é" "è" "ç" and "à" can all be typed without any additional modifiers with
French layout (AZERTY) 

"É" "È" "Ç" and "À" only require caps lock turned on, as you would expect. No
additional modifiers either.

You can try yourself with a QWERTY keyboard and French layout using the numbers
row:

Press "2" for "é" and "É"
Press "7" for "è" and "È"
Press "9" for "ç" and "Ç"
Press "0" for "à" and "À"
