If you don't want to make it public, send it to my email address. Many users tested MySQL and digiKam-7.2.0 during the beta phase and had no problems like you did. I use MariaDB during development and have also tested it on Windows with Oracle MySQL. Smaller reported problems were fixed during the beta phase in conjunction with older MariaDB or MySQL servers.
