I would have to switch over to the other partition with lts version on it. It will be later tonight but I will do so. I simply accessed them as normal in both operating systems the lts version of kubuntu and the non lts version. They were both fresh installs via downloading the iso from website and using belana etcher to write them to a usb 3.0 pen drive. I tried both before update and after on both versions and it did the same thing.
