Sure. I did that a few times, I have a long log but I think it is too long to
attach so I will have to generate a separate link and I have a shorter log,
just as it happens 4 seconds in and then I killed it. The script in the link is
looking for something with the words "kwin_wayland_drm" unfortunately this
isn't in either of the log files I got. 

Today I bought one of those expensive 2.1 HDMI cables to test but to no avail.
Same result.

I'll also link a picture of how sometimes the screen looks after trying to
enable VRR, although it is rare for it to end up looking like that. Usually it
reverts back to normal.

I also looked in the kernel config file, AMD driver is included as a module, at
least to my eyes seems that DRM is enabled. I can attach the current kernel
config file for Arch if that would be of any help?
