I just installed KDE to try it out. Most things seem to respond quickly. But
when I use Alt-Tab to switch windows, it is quite slow.
It takes about 2 seconds to either switch immediately to a new window, or about
2 seconds to bring up the window list.
When I bring up the list, the delay is in displaying the list. Once I choose a
new window and release the keys, the new window is selected quickly.
I'm using the compact switcher, but I'm seeing the delay with different
switchers too.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Press Alt-Tab
2. Wait about 2 seconds for the new window to be selected, or window list to be
displayed
