Hi, Season of KDE 2025 came to an end a few days ago with 10 successful projects! We published a blog post summing up what happened during these 3 months:
https://mentorship.kde.org/blog/2025-05-04-sok-conclusion/. In order to continue the program next year we need new admins (ideally 2 to share the work) as I'm withdrawing as administrator of the program. Candidates need no technical skills, but do need organizational and communication skills as most of the tasks consist of communicating things at the correct time. We have a page explaining the global steps to help you get started https://community.kde.org/SoK/Administer_the_SoK. At least that is how we did things last year. However, that does not mean you cannot use your own ideas or change things to improve them and make SoK more attractive to contributors and mentors. We discussed some ideas for last year's SoK here: https://invent.kde.org/teams/goals/contributor-onboarding/-/issues/8 If you would like to help administer SoK, but still have questions, do not hesitate to contact us at [email protected] and we'll do our best to clear them up! We would like to thank all the participants, whether mentors, contributors, admins or members of the promo team who have helped make SoK 2025 a success! Cheers, Johnny
