Hi, I gave SXCE (b116) a try but it didn't go very well, I was not even able to get to FOSSqt. I know someone managed to get upto KDElibs, but that was beyond my patience.
There are many things that are breaking there. In order to give SXCE second chance, the below is needed: 1. Create a SXCE specific page on the wiki. 2. Describe all the steps that are needed to build at least FOSSqt, preferrably including KDElibs. The steps must work with clean SXCE install inside VirtualBox. I hope it does not sound like a firm dismissal of SXCE, but I think this should be done by someone more familiar with SXCE than me :-) Also this is no "official" statement, just my POV -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
