What kind of things went wrong, specifically? The -42 repo is really a OSOL- only set of specfiles, simply because noone with SXCE has worked on it for months. The "stable" kde4-specs might still build on SXCE, although I've pushed some recent fixes for OSOL even there that might affect it.
