I've only looked fairly quickly so far. I have tried on Solaris 10u7, and I
guess that the Apache std c++ lib didn't make it, which means

G. Documentation Errors
The C++ man page describes a new -library=stdcxx suboption for linking to the
Apache C++ Standard Library in the Solaris OS. Implementation of stdcxx in the
Solaris OS has been deferred and -library=stdcxx might not work in this release.

For KDE, this means no switch to a system libstdcxx on Solaris 10, I presume.

A+

What's the point? The sharp thing on the end.
