Er, we're talking about one patch that removes -xO3 and -xO2, right? That doesn't strike me as a horrific difference, since most of the time we're not even using the build types that the patch touches. Unless there's some deeper patches touching the Find*.cmake bits that I don't see (I'm not looking at the CBE svn, only at the stuff I've got downloaded already). Come to think of it, it wouldn't surprise me to find that there's stuff in there that needs fixing -- after all there's a few patches against the cmake modules in KDE SVN for us as well.
