All,

I've managed to get KDE4.1 installed and running on 3 OpenSolaris (x86)
boxes now (including this one where I'm writing right now), and I must say
I'm very impressed. Kudos to all you guys doing the heavy lifting!

One thing I've seen consistently on all machines is the inability to unlock
the screen that I previously locked - in two cases (laptop and WS at home),
I get a message box telling me

Cannot unlock the session because the authentication system
failed to work; you must kill krunner_lock (pid 1,234) manually

this is of course hard if I don't have a second machine nearby which I can
use to ssh into the locked-up machine (or does KDE offer sth. like virtual
consoles? :-)

(btw: the pid seems strangely formatted - I wouldn't expect any punctuation
in a pid).

esp. for the laptop, this is somewhat limiting ... any hints what I need to do?

TIA
Michael
