Yes, this absolutely belongs in contrib/ . I want to have an IPS server 
serving these packages from somewhere less reputable first, so as not to 
pollute contrib/ and to allow early testing. If pkgsend(1) was available on 
nv104, there would be packages out today. As it stands, it will take another 
day.

I've spent the last week or so in reducing the dependencies considerably, so 
that the weight of KDE4 when installed is less and there are fewer components 
to track. This is a security gain, for sure.

I need to check what the licenses are on all the components I would like to 
ship, to make sure that they are compatible. Us Free Software folk do try to 
keep the amount of license infringement we engage in ourselves to a minimum.

Finally, I need to check the contrib/ policies on encryption and similar, 
because we do ship gpg and cyrus-sasl, tools which are not available on nv104 
normally. That's something I'd want to talk to the security folk about in the 
medium term.
