Ken, For someone who doesn't appear to have a single commit in the HG repos on solaris.bionicmutton.org/hg/, it seems mighty presumptuous of you to tell us how to run our project(s). AFIACT, there are only 4 people who have made commits in the last several months, and there are others who used to make commits, who have apparently lost interest.
Can you tell us why you have no recent commits, yet feel permitted to direct how the project should be run? As for Solaris 10, if you want a 4.3.4 version, please feel free to back port the 150 or so modules that I've updated and migrated to SPEC files to the 4.3.4 tree. You would be wise to use Solaris 10 U8 (10/2009) since there are modules in that build that alleviate some inconsistencies prior to that release. If you check the commit trees, you'll find that it should only take you a month or so to back port all those, given the changes made in the last 30 days. Perhaps if you can't do it, you can recruit someone who can (and will) We're always available on #kde4-solaris on freenode to help. However, I am focusing on S10/KDE 4.3.85 currently, and I don't appreciate having work tasked to me by someone who isn't even contributing to the project. The good news is that with a few more commits to the tree, S10 should be able to start building KDElibs, and beyond. /bent On Fri, Jan 8, 2010 at 2:36 PM, Ken Mays <maybird1776 at yahoo.com> wrote: > Pavel, > > Best to have a stable build of Korona based on KDE 4.3.4.
