Hi Ben, Bad side of the bed this morning? If I only had all that power you speak of to direct mankind to build KDE and create worlds.
I didn't tell anyone what to do directly, I made SUGGESTIONS, Just a note, not telling someone what they HAD to do or how to run their precious project. As to whether I currently patch code to the current KDE repository really has no basis of merit. ANYONE can comment freely on current conditions and practices, Ben. I did so in kind, not in personal flames or direct tasking of work towards anyone. I usually keep my 'high horse' in the barn during the winter. Now think of this case, someone asked for feedback and ideas. When feedback and ideas are given, you torched the sucker that gave the feedback and ideas. Well, there goes another potential contributor you ran off since you thought their comments were "presumptuous" and then wonder why American economies are losing ground or contributing types go elsewhere. I don't think us playing 'king of the mountain' will help the situation, Ben. Again, not telling you how to do your contributions or anything like that of a devalue. Anyhow, Pavel and you have given me some good updates and I know where things stand. I usually test the Korona builds to see what is functional from the work being done. The formal build machine that did SPARC builds went defunct some time ago, so I was working on a SPARC build of my own... -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
