Though I said I wouldn't be in favor of making Plasma elements more transparent, I have to admit that the changes look really, really good to my eye, at least for the light version. The dark version looks a bit odd to me though. It seems too transparent and not dark enough IMO. But I don't use a dark theme so I'll let people who do make their own judgments about that.
