I have FreeBSD 5.3-Release on a Toshiba M35 laptop. I installed KDE from
ports. After the ports installed I had to reinstall the Nvidia driver, not
sure why. But now I have to startx with KDE as root. I want to run KDE as a
regular user. It seems that x or KDE is not loading the Nvidia driver unless
I start as root. So the resolution sucks as a normal user. Does anyone know
how to fix this? Any help would be appriciated.

Let me know if I'm on the wrong list.

Thank You,
Tom Frontera
