As noted in the faq, the font used by konsole in the current
release is rather ugly, and not generally useful for someone who
uses konsole windows a lot.

Historically, the kde that came with freebsd 4.8 release was
fine, as were the older ones that I have used. So, somewhere
between those versions of konsole, something got broken.

For those of us who just want the old font back, what do we
have to do? Can I just load 4.11 then load XF86 and KDE from
the 4.8 distribution?

This is noted as a known problem. Is anyone working on fixing
it (other than the note to use "Neep")? Is there any guess on when
it will be fixed?

  Thanks,

        Alan
