It sure is a whole damn lot easier than trying to make it fit into the ports 
framework. :-(

Qt4 won't be in ports by next week, that much is for sure. I will make an 
effort to get it in before the end of november.

However: There's a good chance that it will partially conflict with Qt3, so 
compiling it outside of ports into a different prefix is still a good idea - 
and it's not hard to do at all either.
