Portupgrade apparently misses it because it pops a message about 
editor/kdeaddons-vimpart directory doesn't exist and quits. Everything 
but kde's tree was up todate when I started the upgrade. 

I eventually pkg_deleted kdeaddons-vimpart and forced the upgrades of 
kdeaddons-*. After that was finished, I could finish the upgrade to 
3.5.
