Why this should have become a problem, especially when I keep things up-to-date via a nightly dvsup of the ports tree and an at least every-other-day portupgrade -ar is a mystery. The problem I have with your suggestion of a binary upgrade is that the koffice on my system is at 1.4.2_2,1, which is the level of the binary presently available. I've tried that route with the intervening upgrades only to have them fail because the installed level has been as current as the binary. Go figure. This is not to argue with you - I'll certainly do the libgsf upgrade as recommended and we'll see what happens. Thanx again, Bob Melson -- Robert G.
