I've been handed a few YouTube and Google Video links recently and tried to watch them in FreeBSD - and had to find out that not even Firefox with linuxpluginwrapper and Flash 7 is able to deal with those. Google Video freezes, YouTube videos have no sound.
There is however still a way - the good old full-linux-binary browser kong-fu. Install linux-firefox: http://people.fruitsalad.org/lofi/stuff/install-linux-firefox.png ... and since the latest revision of kdebase, KDE will pick up the new browser immediately and make it available as a choice in the context menu of any link in konqueror (under Open With) and in the Location menu: http://people.fruitsalad.org/lofi/stuff/open-with-firefox-linux.png http://people.fruitsalad.org/lofi/stuff/open-with-firefox-linux-2.png In hopes somebody might find this helpful, -- ,_, | Michael Nottebrock | [EMAIL PROTECTED] (/^ ^\) | FreeBSD - The Power to Serve | http://www.freebsd.org \u/ | K Desktop Environment on FreeBSD | http://freebsd.kde.org
