I set up my login using csh after installing 6.1-RELEASE and KDE 3.5. I
installed a /etc/X11/xorg.conf and edited /etc/ttys to start kdm.
My first login attempts failed.
A Google'd message from Andreas Meyer pointed me to
/usr/local/share/config/kdm
which seems to have problems if csh is detected.
I changed my shell to bash, logged in; no problems with KDE. I then
changed my shell back to csh and was able to log in, no problems.
