Ok, I thought it probably wasn't just my system. I never could get those keys 
to work the way I wanted on the command line and in ee at the same time. I 
guess I really should learn how to use a real editor :-)

While I have your attention, since I booted my machine today, kmail has 
started popping up a photograph of (presumably) you every time I click on one 
of your emails. I have no objection to seeing your photo, but it won't 
display the email until I close the photo window.
Obviously it's your gpg key photo, but I'm not aware of anything I did to make 
this start happening and can't see how to turn it off. Do you have any idea?
