I don't know. My reading of the Wikipedia pages was unconclusive. All I know is: I cannot create new files with "touch x" in this directory, while I can in other directories on the partition and the mount type is vfat. I guess a number of filesystems will have limitations for the number of files in one directory, so this could become a general thing to watch out for with large accounts. > > So I guess I should set the > > SizeThreshold = 8192 > > configuration variable in .config/akonadi/akonadiserverrc > > the default is 4096. Thanks Volker for the assessment, this saves a lot of time on my end! I think I either try and test if there is recovery or I may see if I can renew the cache for some folders somehow. Maybe by switching off some folders by local subscriptions.
