Yea I guess I was. Many projects will want to have multiple repositories, or at least the option to have them, in a commons. Useful for feature branches or for old historic branches. You start sticking all of even just extragear/multimedia into one project and that would get messy. Also while notifications are still kind of a mess, it is easily possible to subscribe to all the action in a given project via RSS (like, I follow all Phonon changes with a RSS to email notifier). And in a future revision of the Gitorious notification framework, it would seem a reasonable assumption that all the repos in the same project have the same people working in them.
