Reliance Power bags 4,000 Mw Tilaiya Ultra Mega Power Project (UMPP) in Jharkhand by bidding to supply power at Rs 1.77 per unit. The next lowest bidder is NTPC at Rs 2.39 per unit.
Reliance Power has already bagged two UMPPs — at Sasan in Madhya Pradesh and Krishnapatnam in Andhra Pradesh.
