NEW DELHI: The Centre, responding for the first time to the Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group’s ad campaign on the front pages of major national dailies, Reliance Industries' KG-D6 facility | World's top oil exporting countries | World's top 10 oil producers | World's largest refining companies said on Friday its share from the Mukesh Ambani-promoted KG-D6 is about Rs 84,000 crore and not just Rs 500 crore as claimed by ADAG.
In a statement vetted by finance minister Pranab Mukherjee, oil minister Murli Deora, law minister Veerappa Moily and power minister Sushilkumar Shinde, the government said the oil ministry will protect the interests of NTPC “by all means”. One advertisement had alleged that the oil ministry is working against the state-run firm to protect RIL’s interests. A government official associated with the development told ET that the oil ministry is considering filing an affidavit in the Supreme Court on Monday to strengthen NTPC’s case. “Details of the affidavit are being worked out by experts. But all government entities involved in this case will take action based on consensus,” the official said, requesting anonymity. 6amesh shareway --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Kences1" group.
