OCSP Consultancy Announcement
The consulting company DAI is managing a USAID-sponsored orangutan conservation
program (OCSP) and is recruiting a Professional Writer for a 7 week periodto
promote OCSP and partner conservation activities to conserve orangutan and
their habitat in North Sumatra.
This consultancy will require rewriting and synthesizing technical reports for
a broader audience, reporting on and communicating existing activities related
to: conservation of key biodiversity habitat in spatial planning scenarios;
conservation villages; role of community in wildlife enforcement and natural
resource management; particularly at village level- and communicating this work
through print media.
A university degree in journalism and 5 years in related work experience is
required.. The position is located in Medan.
Fluency in Bahasa Indonesian required; competence in English preferred. Please
