 I wouldn't say it's not planned for -20mdk (and I didn't).

 Everything depends on how many important security fixes we have vs. the
time required to fix it.

 It isn't fixed in -20uc1mdk because my queue became big due to the
-19mdk release, and I don't want to fix #21345 _and_ introduce lots
of kernel fixes which needs to be tested as well.

 Yes but IIRC Gwenolé has said it may brake config tools, and probably
we'll have to change some of them. Perhaps it's not that trivial.
