USB devices stop being recognized and the network card/chipset cease functioning, preventing you from getting online. I've had to reinstall Ubuntu 15.04 in order to get back to a working state, and will no longer consider upgrading to 15.10 again until I am forced to do so by the 15.04 EOL.
