In comment #5, did you mean the 4.2.0.x kernels are the first kernels that exhibit the high load? If so can you test these two kernels and confirm that v4.1 final has an acceptable load and 4.2-rc1 introduces the high load? If that is the case, we can bisect between 4.1 and 4.2-rc1.
