I have the same issue with a USB microscope ID (eb1a:2771) eMPIA Technology, Inc.
It used to work some weeks ago. The camera/microscope is no longer working on kernel 4.4.0-173. Uvcvideo fails with the kernel message 'uvcvideo: No streaming interface found for terminal 2' and no `/dev/videoX` device is created.
